An enclave move, done by the book
Huntleys Cove is what happens when a whole suburb is built as apartment communities: shared driveways, basement parking with height limits, lifts that want booking, and paths between the buildings and the water that were designed for strollers, not sofas. None of it is a problem. All of it is a plan.
Because the suburb is ten minutes' walk end to end and five minutes' drive from our base, this is genuinely local work for us. We know which buildings take a truck close to the lobby and which mean a longer trolley run, and we quote the hours accordingly, before the day rather than on it.
The short version
- Nearly every move here is a unit move: the full corridor method applies, lift booking first.
- Truck standing is building-specific: some lobbies are metres from a bay, some aren't. We check yours in person if the answer isn't already in our heads.
- Most jobs run with 2 movers and a truck at $250 an hour; a long trolley run is the usual reason to add the third.
- In or out of the enclave, the other end is usually minutes away: Gladesville, Henley, Hunters Hill, or over the bridge.
